Gay Boys and Their Mothers

Dear Boodles.
My mother is amazing. 81 yrs now and she looks great. Healthy as can be.

She totally spoils me, like I am still 8 yrs old, and I love it. She cooked all of my favorite foods and mended a small hole in my T-shirt.

We talk for hours about family and books and discuss our feelings about life in general and viewpoints on the news of the day.

Then we go for long evening walks in the country and watch ducklings in a small lake swim in a perfect “V” behind their elegant and ever watchful mother.

How I love my Annabelle! We all follow her in a perfect “V” because she has never led us astray. My heart aches as soon as I leave home, and I simply cannot bear to think of the day when she no longer graces this earth. It is just too painful.

What is it about gay boys and their mothers?

  1. "They" say that everybody was everybody else's mother in another lifetime.
